Our events are open to members, non-members, men, and women!
The second Tuesday of each month we have dinner meetings with networking beginning at 5:30pm and dinner at 6:00pm. Check the calendar for the details of our next meeting.
Events Overview
All year long we host meetings, activities and fundraisers to ensure our members can come together to learn from each other and develop connections within the industry. Below are some our favorite local, regional and national events.
Local Events:
Annual Golf Tournament
This annual event is open to golfers, male and female, of all skill levels. It includes awesome prizes from our Opportunity Drawings, Silent Auction, Skill (AND Luck) Contests.
Anniversary & Executive Night
This annual event is a time to celebrate our chapter’s anniversary, honor our members and the companies they work for. In addition, we recognize the NAWIC San Diego Scholarship recipients, Design Drafting Contest winners, and the Block Kids winners.
Installation Dinner
Every September we hold a ceremonial dinner to celebrate and retire the immediate past board members and install the newly elected board.
Membership Meetings & Mixers
Networking in the construction industry is very important. That is why each of our monthly membership meetings begins with 30 minutes of networking. Members and non-members are encouraged to attend. We also host mixers several times throughout the year.

Each year we select one or more community programs or events to participate in. If you have a program that could use our support please contact us.
Regional & National Events:
Regional Annual Planning Conference (APC)
Each year a different NAWIC chapter from our region will host the APC. The conference is a great place to facilitate official NAWIC and NEF business, discuss NAWIC policies and procedures, and network with members throughout the region. Educational seminars and solutions for your business and career are also offered.
Regional Annual Forum (Forum)
Each spring the Annual Forums offer educational seminars, solutions for your business and career, networking and more.
National Women in Construction (WIC) Week
Women in Construction Week is held each March to promote construction awareness for women. Fundraising event, education opportunities, and networking are traditionally part of week.
National Annual Planning Conference (National Convention)
This amazing end of summer conference brings all of the NAWIC regions and chapters together! Educational seminars, solutions for your business and career, and networking are just a few things to look forward to at this event.
